Issues Etc. is cancelled?

Issues Etc., the best program on Lutheran radio, was apparently cancelled yesterday. I found out about this, not through the usual channels I have about such things, but from James White this morning. Here’s all available information at this point, from YouTube:

    Meanwhile, an online petition has been started up about Issues, Etc. being ended. I don’t know how much good it will do, but it should be able to do some. it certainly can’t hurt to put your name down. Here’s the link:

    Finally, financial help for the Schwarz and Wilken families can be sent to the following address. Just put in the memo line that it’s for the “Schwartz/Wilken Fund”. The Schwarzes especially need the help and Rev. Jack Schwarz’s wife Beth has been recently diagnosed with small fiber neuropathy and they need to go to Mayo Clinic to try figuring out what can be done.

    I suppose that it is high time for me to point out that I am employed by The Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod, and my opinions have not been vetted by, and do not necessarily represent, those of my employer. (I work in their IT department.)

    I’ll let the above comment stand unless my job ends up on the line. This is why I pointed people to Pastor Lehmann’s blog for this information. Do check out Aaron’s blog listed above too because that is a one-stop shop for every link and every detail I have seen so far.
