If I were a Time Lord, I’d only have one heart left now; the other one I’ve left in Highland with all of you.
Thanks for taking in a stranger, showing him such care and love, and even so graciously accepting him as part of the GCBC family for a season. I don’t know how to express how much you each mean to me. I’ll truly miss everyone.
God willing, our paths will cross again. (Although, man, it’d probably be easier to arrange this sort of thing if I had a TARDIS! Ah, well.) But even if we never meet again in this life, then we’ll surely meet again in the next, since Christians never say goodbye forever. God will wipe away every tear from our eyes, and we’ll rejoice together before the throne of our King, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ Himself!
May the grace of our Lord and our God be with you, my dear friends, my dear brothers and sisters in Christ.
P.S. Pastor Rob — I’m really sorry to say this, it was a tough decision, but I think you should know that the deciding factor for my leaving was because I can’t take the sound of drums! Totally kidding. Truth be told, GCBC has some pretty awesome music led by a pretty awesome worship team.

I think you talk entirely too much of doctor who.
Sorry to see you leaving so quickly, though.
For some reason I picture Reb Tevye walking around in his barn, singing “If I were a Timelord…”
They made it to Albuquerque at 2:30 this morning.
Sorry, didn’t keep up this time. He made it back last night, safe and sound.
