More short updates
Posted on Wednesday, December 26th, 2007 at 8:45 amThe Doctor Who Christmas special this year pulled in its biggest numbers since 1979, which means that it even beat out the episode “Rose,” the first of the new series. One source said that it will play in the US in “early 2008″ but I don’t believe it for a minute.
Sandbox 1.2 is out, and we have upgraded.
Google Reader users (like myself) are a bit appalled at how our shared items are being used. (Thankfully I only used it as a shortcut to put links on my blog without commentary.)
Freedom of speech must not be preempted by the right not to be offended. There is no such right, and there never was.
I would have posted yesterday, but I was too busy playing Liar’s Dice (the official Pirates of the Caribbean version) with the kids. (Not the cleanest language in that Wikipedia entry, so be warned, but we played it roughly like the people on Davy Jones’ ship did in the movie.)
Update: In other news, this is our 1,000th post on this blog, and we’re just three comments away from the 2,000th comment. Wow.
