I preached the first of two sermons leading up to Reformation Day today. It’s sort of a “we need a new Reformation, and it’s the same as the old Reformation” theme, but I wasn’t obvious about it, I don’t think.
It moves fast, and I would encourage people who care to look up the passages and follow along as best they can. It’s my first topical sermon since I started preaching occasionally at GCBC, and I suppose it turned out all right, but I would like to refine the next one quite a bit more.

Charlie,
Your sermon was awesome! I praise God that you are able to fill in for Pastor Rob when the need is arises. I think I said this yesterday but I took two pages worth of notes because there was just so much to meditate on! And I loved how we went all over the Bible.
I look forward to your next sermon. Thank you for all of your sacrifice and preparation.
