    My comments:

    1. I’m not a big fan of Abiword. OpenOffice.org Writer is just my speed if I need a stinking word processor.
    2. How could you leave out Miro? I’m falling in love with that app.
    3. Nothing works like Audacity, agreed.
    4. I like PasswordSafe for password storage but that’s probably because I’ve had it for so long.
    5. I may have to try FreeMind. I don’t have to become a George Clinton fan, do I?
    6. I guess most people don’t need a text editor that can do anything better than you. (My religion requires that I plug Emacs whenever I see a list like this.)

    Wow, I only heard about Miro the other day via this article (not that I would use it for what the article talks about, um, not using Miro for). Where have I been?
