No longer worth it

I have had to turn off mail delivery to myself from the Reformed Baptist Discussion List (RBDL). I just can’t personally read some of the things that are said there. Maybe someday I’ll be strong enough to read some of those things without actually sinning in my heart.

I understand why some people think that non-Sabbatarians can’t be called Reformed. (See the link on this post for more about that.)

But I don’t understand how one or two people can redefine reality for everybody else. More I will not say; “what happens on RBDL, stays on RBDL.” There are great men of God and very wise people on both sides of the full-1689 fence on that list. I will miss the lawyer, the journalist, the bivocational man in Idaho, the pastor in Toledo, the defender of the Decalogue, and so forth.

But there’s a lot of things I won’t miss.

Anybody know of a list for Calvinist Baptists where people who make ridiculous overstatements don’t get a free pass because of their doctrinal agreement?
