Television without pity

“The Doctor turns from Rose, who is walking away, to Mickey, walking away. And Reinette not too far behind, and then Sarah Jane, and then Gallifrey, and then Ace, and then Adric.” Whoever is writing these synopses on Television Without Pity is really, really good.

I’m glad he likes BSG, Buffy, The Office, and Veronica Mars, too! :-)

Although I can’t say the same for some of his other faves, especially The O.C., Laguna Beach, and Big Brother. Ugh.

I still gotta check out the new Doctor Who.

    And I highly recommend Firefly/Serenity.

    Sorry for the digression.

Stay on target, stay on target… *kablooie*!

I decided not to think too much about the other shows he likes. I’m just continually surprised at the depth of his reviews of the DW episodes. He does his own, ahem, “mash-up” of poetry and art within his take on the shows, and he gets some lines in that are better than the episodes themselves. Like “pity is the Bad Wolf of this season.” I don’t know if I agree but boy, is it food for thought. And his ending coverage of each character as they leave the show is very poignant, leading up to the… well, the last show of 2006 (at least in the US, since we will be seeing the 2006 Christmas special sometime this summer).
