Get ready for the blog to look weird. I’m updating it to Wordpress 2.1 over the next day or two and I honestly have no idea what’s going to happen. At the very least I suspect that my asides will show up here again, and the veryplaintxt theme may not work.
Update: Asides are still showing up on the front page; that’s going to take some serious work on somebody’s part. But the “Category Visibility” plugin had pretty much become an accident waiting to happen anyway. Everything else seems to be there.
Update 2: Not only does this version of Category Visibility work, it actually handles the number of posts on the front page better. We appear to have made it through a major upgrade without a loss in functionality!

BTW, I love the new WordPress logo on the login screen. It looks like a rather elegant version of a Volkswagen logo. We’re moving on up!

Ha ha. Either one may be right, you might be in a better position to judge that than me. But I believe the second one is what shows up on my birth certificate.
I will not countenance any suggestions that incorporate any part of the name “Robert” or derivative of said name into what people actually call me. No warnings, no mercy.
I don’t particularly mind. Knowing my middle name won’t give you any hints as to my passwords or anything.
